    Adolescent Intensive OutpatientThe Adolescent IOP is designed for adolescents ages of 12 to 17 (18 year olds may attend if still in high school) dealing with various mental health and emotional issues. Each adolescent receives a psychiatric evaluation and clinical assessment. The Adolescent IOP utilizes a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of a psychiatrist, advanced practice nurse, licensed therapists and other mental health professionals. Adolescents participate in psycho-educational groups and learn to develop positive coping and communication skills, conflict resolution skills and anger management skills, and receive alcohol and drug abuse education. A member of Hampton’s medical staff provides medication management. Participants are often transitioned from Adolescent PHP to Adolescent IOP to assure continuity of care. An individualized treatment plan, discharge plan and social support network are created for each individual’s unique needs. During the academic year, the Adolescent IOP is provided Monday through Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at all three Hampton Counseling Center locations. In the summer months, the Adolescent IOP is provided Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the main campus in Westampton, NJ.
