General Information
Description of ServiceThe Adolescent PHP is designed for adolescents ages of 12 to 17 (18 year olds may attend if still in high school) dealing with mental health and emotional issues. Each adolescent receives a psychiatric evaluation and clinical assessment. The Adolescent PHP utilizes a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of a psychiatrist, advanced practice nurse, licensed therapists and other mental health professionals. Adolescents participate in psycho-educational groups and learn to develop positive coping and communication skills, conflict resolution skills and anger management skills, and receive alcohol and drug abuse education. Hampton’s medical staff provides medication management. A certified teacher is also available to ensure that patients remain current with school assignments. An individualized treatment plan, discharge plan and social support network are created for each individual’s unique needs.

The Adolescent PHP is provided Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m at the main campus in Westampton with tutoring offered from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Transportation can be provided within local communities.
