Description of AgencyOn January 1, 2012 Family Service and Steininger Behavioral Care Services merged to form Twin Oaks Community Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for vulnerable adults, children and families throughout New Jersey. The partnership brings the promise of growth, giving more people access to quality, effective behavioral health services.

Twin Oaks provides over 100 behavioral health programs designed to meet the needs of our community with compassion. Many individuals we serve will need lifelong mental health support services; others need help during times of turbulence and some simply need assistance restoring stability to their world. Through each of life’s challenges, our role remains to help each person make healthy choices, achieve personal goals, realize amazing strengths and eventually reach his or her potential.
