Description of AgencyEstablished in January 2000 following the consolidation of St. Elizabeth Hospital and Elizabeth General Medical Center, Trinitas Hospital is a full service healthcare facility, serving those who live and work in Eastern and Central Union County. Trinitas Hospital is a Catholic teaching hospital sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, in partnership with Elizabethtown Healthcare Foundation. Operating on two major campuses, Trinitas Hospital offers 521 beds, including a 120-bed long-term care center. A total of 2,400 full and part time staff are employed by Trinitas Hospital. Acute Care services are located at the Williamson Street Campus (formerly, St. Elizabeth Hospital. Support services. Long term care, and psychiatric inpatient services are located at the New Point Campus (formerly Alexian Brothers Hospital).
