    Adult Addiction Intensive OutpatientSATS is an comprehensive outpatient substance abuse treatment program serving the State of New Jersey. Consisting of a number of specialized programs, we offer individual, group and family counseling for individuals and their families with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Special needs such as co-occurring disorders, developmental and physical disabilities, trauma, fetal alcohol syndrome and traumatic brain injury are treated within an individualized treatment approach with case management support where needed. Additionally, there is a women's program designed especially to address their unique needs in the recovery process. Working closely with an ASAM-certified psychiatrist, consumers in need will be evaluated and followed up for medication monitoring where indicated. Each individual is evaluated at intake and assigned to the appropriate level of care including individual, group, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and aftercare. Those in need of a higher level of care are assisted with referrals to the proper treatment facility in the community. Consumers from Middlesex and/or have Medicaid can be assisted with transportation. The main treatment site is at 303 George Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Our program for inmates is held in the Middlesex County Correctional Center in North Brunswick, New Jersey. Appointments made be made through the Access Center # 1-800-969-5300.
