Nursing Carelong and short stays (300 beds), is unique in that it is staffed 24 hours-a-day by physicians and professional nurses. The medical team includes geriatric nurse practitioners, psychiatrist, psychologist, and professional social workers, who are on staff and attend daily to residents needs. Occupational, physical and activities therapists design individualized programs for residents to strengthen interpersonal skills, build greater self-reliance and improve physical abilities. The licensed RNs, LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants comprise a patient care team that is available 24-hours per day. District Nursing is our concept of assigning, on a the long-term basis, nursing staff members to a resident in order to develop accountability for and consistent knowledge of the medical condition of the resident.
