General Information
Description of ServiceThe Ida Gurtman Therapeutic Children’s Program is a specialized, partial care/day treatment program for emotionally disturbed children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 6 years. The program provides a nurturing, structured, therapeutic environment in which children can interact with peers and adults, learning positive, developmentally appropriate socialization skills through modeling, shaping and reinforcement. Families also learn to function more positively, supportively, and effectively. The Program has been in continuous operation since its inception in 1972.
