General Information
Description of ServiceThe Intensive Day Treatment Program (IDTP) is a therapeutic day program. It provides services to mentally ill and/or chemical-abusing (MICA) clients who are currently homeless. The services are provided by two St. Mary Hospital Case Managers under the supervision of The Hoboken Shelter’s Executive Director. The services consist of: A variety of group sessions, which include discussion groups and activity groups. Case management on an individual basis to counsel clients and assist them in obtaining available services, which include housing and financial assistance. Psychiatric evaluation by a psychiatrist at the St. Mary Hospital clinic.
