General Information
Description of ServiceThe Recovery Network for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing outpatient program provides assessment, treatment, education, family therapy, case management and communication access to substance abusing individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or who have hearing loss. All services are provided by staff that is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and culturally sensitive to the Deaf community. Treatment is an enhanced outpatient level of care and includes family therapy. A monthly Deaf 12-Step meeting is held in Voorhees.

ASAM level 1
Less than 9 hours of service/week(adults); less than 6 hours/week (adolescents) for recovery or motivational enhancement therapies/strategies.
