Adult Co-Occurring Inpatient

Inpatient

General Information
Description of ServiceFor adults with acute behavioral health problems and a co-occurring diagnosis of chemical dependency, inpatient treatment at Hampton provides a safe environment where behavior and medication can be closely monitored. Patients are carefully assessed to ensure that detox protocols are put in place to safely and comfortably manage withdrawal symptoms.

Group therapy with our licensed social workers and alcohol and drug counselors help patients understand their illness and focus on recovery. In addition to addiction groups, patients also work with both a registered dietician and a registered nurse to gain a holistic perspective on the impact of their illness on their overall health and well-being. Twelve step meetings are held nightly on the unit to reinforce the day’s activities.
