Government Affairs Department

General Information
Description of ProgramMHANJ works on policy and advocacy through its Government Affairs Department. Our Public Policy Committee is made up of many experts throughout New Jersey. We research and develop policy recommendations that guide our work with administrators and legislators. At the same time, our statewide Advocacy Council--and our work with the Consumer Advocacy Partnership--allows us to mobilize and organize all mental health advocates statewide to take action on critical legislation and regulations.
