Description of AgencyAAMH is a private, non-profit, community-based mental health center that provides comprehensive behavioral health care to Greater Mercer County individuals and their families.

AAMH was founded in 1974 by parents of developmentally disabled adults, most of who were living under adverse quality of life conditions. They sought to create an organization that would provide social care and rehabilitative services for their children that would allow them to live in the community with dignity and respect.
